Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR therapy may be new to you, but it has decades of proven research with highly effective results. As it has grown in popularity, more people are discovering its powerful ability to help people recover from trauma and PTSD.
By coupling trauma memories with bilateral stimulation (such as eye moments), we can train our brains to reduce the strength of the memories and emotions tied to traumatic events.
The success of EMDR is built on a proven practice of methodology. Session schedule and duration may feel different for those used to traditional talk therapy. Kathy would love to chat with you about how EMDR can work in conjunction with your current providers or be a great fit for those looking for something new.
You can’t change the past, but EMDR can help you regain control of your future.
